Canterbury Earthquake

yesterday Kowhai syndicate did some baking for Burnham school in Christchurch.Room 6 made date scones and pictures and letters. These were collected by a courier and flown to south free of charge.Other syndicates did some things and we ended up sending 3 care packages away.It was a nice feeling giving to those who need.

  1. below is an email received from a parent after we sent our baking on Monday.....

    Hello,

I am the mother of Eleanor and Alex Brown (years 5 & 6) of Burnham School.

I would just like to say a massive thank you to your school for such a lovely gesture. The letters and food was such a surprise, the children loved it. It was great to see another school thinking of the children down here, they have been through a very terrifying experience and this kind act was very much needed.

So please thank all the children at the school for thinking of others it really does make a difference.

    Thank you

    Theresa Brown
